The American Brittany, developed from the French Brittany out of hunter
preference for dogs built to cover the open terrain of American hunting
grounds, is an avid hunter demonstrating a gentle disposition. Brittanys
are biddable and affectionate, with a keen sense of smell. They are
known best for their happy personality and natural abilities to hunt
upland game and retrieve. They have webbed toes and love the water,
making them excellent waterfowl dogs as well. An energetic sporting
breed, they love to run, romp, swim, and play. A Brittany of good breeding
will never be vicious or mean.
Our Brittanys are orange and white with exceptional markings. As you can see from our photos, the new pups have a great deal of white on the body and personality marks of orange. more...
